Our Mission & American Standards
ShopAmericanFirst (SAF) was founded by a U.S. veteran with a singular purpose: to make it easier for Americans to choose American businesses when they shop. We curate and promote products from companies that operate in the United States, employ American workers, or manufacture goods on American soil.
SAF promotes products from American brands that are American sourced — meaning U.S.-owned or operated companies whose products are sourced, assembled, or fulfilled domestically. Where a product includes internationally sourced materials, this is disclosed with our "Intl. Materials" badge.
We prioritize, in order of preference:
- Products from American-owned and operated brands, sourced and fulfilled domestically
- Products distributed by U.S.-based businesses that employ American workers
- Products from U.S. small businesses and veteran-owned enterprises
- Products with internationally sourced materials are transparently marked with an "Intl. Materials" badge
We do not knowingly promote foreign-manufactured goods or businesses with no meaningful American economic presence. Where products include international materials, we disclose this transparently. If a product is found to not meet our standards, we will remove it. We encourage customers to contact us at here2helpsaf@gmail.com if they have concerns about any listed product.
We make a best-effort commitment to featuring American brands and American-sourced products — but we are not the FTC and do not make legally binding origin certifications. We rely on vendor representations and our own vetting process.
Section 02
Product Sourcing & Material Disclosure
SAF makes a good-faith effort to verify that vendors and products meet our American-first standards. However, we acknowledge the following realities of modern manufacturing and supply chains:
- Raw materials used in domestically manufactured goods may be sourced internationally (e.g., steel, cotton, electronics components)
- Some packaging materials may originate outside the United States
- Vendor-provided product information is taken in good faith and not independently laboratory-tested
- Country-of-origin claims are based on vendor representations; SAF cannot independently verify every component
Where we become aware that a product's materials include significant non-domestic sourcing, we will make a best effort to note this in the product description or vendor information. We are committed to transparency and will update listings as we learn more.
If you discover that a product listed on SAF does not meet its advertised origin claims, please contact us immediately at here2helpsaf@gmail.com. We take these reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
SAF does not manufacture any products. We are a curated marketplace and storefront. All products are fulfilled through vendor relationships managed via Shopify. Product descriptions, images, and specifications are provided by vendors and are subject to change without notice.
Section 03
Third-Party Sellers & Vendor Responsibility
Products listed on ShopAmericanFirst.com are sold by independent vendors. SAF acts as a curated storefront — we select, promote, and surface products from these vendors, but we are not the manufacturer, seller of record, or fulfillment party for most transactions.
- Vendors are responsible for the accuracy of their product descriptions, ingredient lists, and country-of-origin claims
- Vendors control inventory, fulfillment, and shipping timelines
- Vendor return and refund policies may vary — consult the vendor directly for post-purchase issues
- SAF is not liable for product defects, delays, or misrepresentations made by vendors
By purchasing through SAF's checkout, you enter into a transaction with the vendor via our fulfillment partner's platform. Our fulfillment partner's terms of service and the vendor's own policies govern the transaction. SAF is not a party to that contract. Orders may appear on receipts or confirmation emails under the channel name "SAF Headless" — this refers to our storefront and is the same transaction.
We stand behind every vendor we list. If you have a poor experience, tell us — we use that feedback to evaluate whether a vendor continues to be part of SAF's catalog.
Section 04
Purchases, Checkout & Inventory
SAF's storefront is powered by our fulfillment and warehouse partner. When you proceed to checkout, you are redirected to a secure payment platform. SAF does not store, process, or have access to your payment information.
- Product availability displayed on SAF is refreshed from our partner warehouse's inventory system at regular intervals and may not reflect real-time stock levels
- A product appearing "available" on SAF does not guarantee inventory will be available when your order is processed by our fulfillment partner
- If a product is out of stock at the time of payment, you will be notified and the transaction will not complete for that item
- Pricing displayed on SAF reflects vendor-set prices in our partner system and is subject to change without notice
- SAF does not control and is not responsible for shipping costs, estimated delivery times, or carrier delays

Section 05
Site Content, Blog & Editorial Standards
SAF's blog features vendor spotlights and editorial content written to highlight American businesses and their products. This content is promotional and informational in nature.
- Blog content represents SAF's editorial opinion and is not independent journalism or certified product review
- Featured products in blog posts are selected by SAF and may reflect vendor relationships or promotional arrangements
- Product claims referenced in blog content are sourced from vendor information and are not independently verified by SAF
- Popularity badges ("Popular This Week," "Best Seller All Time") are based on add-to-cart activity tracked through our own system and are not externally audited sales figures
- Product badges ("American Brand", "American Sourced") indicate that a vendor is a U.S.-owned or operated business — these reflect publicly available information and vendor self-reporting only. SAF does not independently audit, certify, or verify supply chains. Customers should conduct their own due diligence for sourcing-sensitive purchases
- Some brands featured in our blog are not currently available for purchase on ShopAmericanFirst.com — these are spotlighted purely to support American manufacturer visibility in line with our mission, and do not constitute an endorsement, partnership, or affiliation with those brands
- Verification data shown on blog brand pages (U.S. business status, manufacturing notes) is sourced from publicly available information and vendor self-reporting. SAF does not independently audit or certify any brand featured in editorial content
- Product cards on blog pages are dynamically matched against our live catalog — if a product is not found, no purchase link is shown and the "not yet on SAF" notice is displayed automatically
- Where a product includes internationally sourced materials, an "Intl. Materials" badge is displayed as a transparency notice — this does not affect the product's eligibility or our support of that vendor
All site content, design, and branding including the SAF logo, eagle imagery, and written copy are the property of ShopAmericanFirst and may not be reproduced without written permission.
Section 06
Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
ShopAmericanFirst.com is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- SAF disclaims all warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of product information
- SAF is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or purchase of products
- SAF is not liable for product defects, injuries, or losses caused by products purchased through our platform
- SAF is not liable for website downtime, data loss, or interruptions to service
- SAF's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights under applicable federal or state law.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or, where arbitration is not applicable, in a court of competent jurisdiction.
SAF reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the site following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

Privacy & Data
SAF does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We are committed to handling any data we collect responsibly.
- SAF does not directly collect payment information — all payments are processed by our fulfillment partner under their privacy policy
- When you complete a purchase, transaction data including your name, shipping address, email address, and order details is collected by our fulfillment partner (Shopify) as necessary to process and fulfill your order. This data is governed by Shopify's Privacy Policy. SAF may access order-level information (such as order number and fulfillment status) for customer support purposes only
- SAF tracks anonymous add-to-cart activity to power our "Popular This Week" and "Best Seller" features; this data is not tied to any individual user identity
- Our site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages; Cloudflare collects standard infrastructure data including IP addresses, page views, and request metadata per their privacy policy. SAF does not access individual-level analytics. No third-party advertising trackers or analytics pixels are used on this site
- We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use this site — this includes pages viewed, time on site, general location (country/region), device type, and how visitors arrived at the site. Google Analytics does not collect your name or contact information. This data is used solely to improve the site experience. You can opt out via Google's opt-out tool. Google's use of this data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy
- Our supplier blog pages make requests to an SAF-operated API (Cloudflare Worker) to check product availability in real time — this request does not transmit any personal information
- We do not use advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or third-party ad networks
- Deep-link URLs used to navigate from blog posts to product pages contain only an internal product identifier — no personal data is transmitted via these links
SAF is ad-free and does not use advertising trackers or retargeting pixels. We use Google Analytics solely to understand site performance — never to serve ads or sell your data.

Section 09
Returns & Refunds
Return Window
We accept return requests within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused and in their original condition and packaging. Return eligibility is subject to the vendor's own return policy — SAF will facilitate the process and communicate any vendor-specific restrictions promptly.
How to Request a Return
To initiate a return, please contact us at here2helpsaf@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return. Once approved, a return shipping label will be provided.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Return Shipping
For eligible returns, SAF will work with the vendor or fulfillment partner to provide a return shipping label at no cost to you where available. Return shipping terms may vary by vendor and product type.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your item arrived damaged or you received the wrong product, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at here2helpsaf@gmail.com with photos. We will respond within 3–5 business days with a resolution.
Non-Returnable Items
Items that have been used, damaged by the customer, or returned outside the 30-day window are not eligible for return.
Section 10
Shipping
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your order contents and delivery location. Because our products are sourced from multiple suppliers and ship directly to you, rates are determined in real time to ensure accuracy — you'll always see the exact cost before completing your purchase.
Shipping times may vary by product and supplier. Once your order ships, tracking information is typically provided directly by the vendor or fulfillment partner — keep an eye on your order confirmation email for updates.
You will always see your exact shipping cost before completing checkout — no surprises.
